  • The course offers over 35 lessons on one-handed European weapons that both cut and thrust. It applies to swords such as sabre, spadroon, and rapier, and the principles apply across a wider range of swords. These swords can be seen in films such as Pirates of the Caribbean, The Three Musketeers, and Cyrano.

We go over grip, stance, targeting, footwork, partner drills and above all: safety.

  • These lessons focus on the body and sword dynamics for swords held with two hands that do more cutting than thrusting, such as European longsword, Japanese katana, axes, and more.

We use these swords to drill diagonal footwork, attacks in opposition, two-handed grip, and more. These body dynamics can then apply to single-handed weapons when you need to look strong and stay in balanced and controlled.
